Editor of Universes in Universe - Worlds of Art, together with Pat Binder.

Art historian, curator, art critic.

Since the 1970's, specialized in contemporary art from Latin America. Works on different aspects of the international art and cultural exchange since the 1990's.

Since 1996, realization of cultural projects on the Internet, and specialization in conceptual and practical issues of webmarketing in the art field.

Biographical data, studies

 

1952

 

Born near Magdeburg, GDR.

 

1971 - 1975

 

Art history studies at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. Master's thesis on Christian iconography in the first phase of the Mexican mural movement.

 

1975 - 1978

 

Research studies at Rostock University. Dissertation on the origin of the Mexican mural movement. Graduated in 1978, Dr. phil.

 

1978 - 1982

 

Department of Art History at the East German Central Board of the Association of Fine Artists in East Berlin.

Together with Pat Binder. Art project on Alexanderplatz / Berlin, in memory of the largest rally of the democratic movement in the GDR. In an illuminated billboard were shown works by 13 international artists in a three moth rotation.
