Presentation's title:
Paradise Lost: Mourning of the World
On 12 October 2002, two bombs exploded on Bali, long considered the
epitome of an island paradise, killing 180 people. Based on this event,
Indonesia’s presentation deals with terror and violence within
its own borders and around the world. Another facet of "paradise
lost" is the discrimination against the citizens of this country,
which has the world’s largest percentage of Muslim inhabitants,
while traveling in Western countries (see Arahmaiani).
