The selection of curator Alfons Hug, artistic director of the most recent as well as the upcoming São Paulo Biennial, refers to "hell" (represented by the red photos by Rosângela Rennó) and "paradise" (the paintings by Beatriz Milhazes) as two leit motifs in Dante's "Divine Comedy".
