Cosmic Orphans. 2006 Painted sleeping figures crowd the roof of the Temple dedicated to the god Shiva. These "cosmic orphans" - sleeping pilgrims, tired workers, dozing guards, slumbering children and resting souls - lie blissfully above the busy Waterloo Street and are protected from it by the temple walls.
