The Myth of Sisyphus. 2006
Two channel video installation
Video installation. Pedestrians were asked at public places in Zurich (Switzerland) and Marrakesh (Morocco) about the last thoughts of suicide bombers. The title refers to Albert Camus' (1913 - 1960) philosophical essay "The Myth of Sisyphus" (Le mythe de Sisyphe, 1942), in which he analyzes the absurdity of human existence and suicide as a philosophical problem.
