The area that I chose to take pictures of is called Al Khan. It was evacuated to renovate the old courtyard houses that have been standing there for longer that 50 years. The first four pictures were taken in Al Khan. I wanted to show old Sharjah, the way buildings look like, after having been evacuated and neglected for such a long time. My grandmother grew up there, so I get a nostalgic feeling, whenever I walk through this area. |
