Fort and Shalimar Gardens in Lahore

The historic Lahore Fort was built in the 11th century A.D. As a long line of rulers made additions, it includes different phases of Mogul architecture. The Shalimar Gardens were laid out during the reign of Shah Jehan in the early 1640's. 360-degree images (Quicktime) and map of the site registered on the World Heritage List by UNESCO. [en]

Lahore Arts Council

Institution that supports and promotes artists of every genre. Housed in the Alhamra Cultural Complex. Facilities include: 6 theatres/auditoriums, a Permanent Art Gallery with its own collection of paintings, prints, sculptures and ceramics; the Alhamra Art Gallery for short rotating exhibitions. Lahore Museum

Shakir Ali Museum
